Introducing myself
My name is Patricia and I am a young soprano born in 1998 in Romania (Cluj-Napoca). I approached classical music through studying the violin at 7 years old. While I was playing I discovered that I also had natural talents for singing and so I decided to study it further and discovered that I fell in love with it.
Opera singing today, in addition to being my passion, is my profession.
My story
I started studying music with the violin at 7 years old and I was told during the musical preparatory lessons that I had strong vocal skills. I was directed to join a choir and so I joined the Children's Choir of the Milan Conservatory first and then the Children's Choir of the Teatro alla Scala afterwards. Through these first experiences in the world of singing I was given the opportunity to perform as a soloist from the beginning, in fact my first solo concert dates back to my 7 years at the Teatro dal Verme in Milan. Thanks to these youthful experiences I made my debut at just 13 years old in the opera "Brundibar" in the title role at the Teatro Sociale di Sondrio and at 16 years old in the opera "Macbeth" at the Teatro ala Scala . For me, solo performance was natural and accompanied me in the different stages of growth. I therefore decided that I wanted to study and better understand singing technique, so at 16 I entered the Milan Conservatory as the first soprano in the ranking (where I also continued studying the violin). At 21 I obtained my first degree with top marks and at 23 I obtained my second degree with honours.
In the same year I was admitted to the specialization school for soloists of the Teatro Comunale of Bologna where I was given the opportunity to enter the professional world of work, debuting the role of Clorinda in "La Cenerentola" and the role of Susanna in "The Marriage of Figaro". " (in concert form).
In 2023 I will enroll in Avos , an international music school in Rome to deepen my study of chamber music. Thanks to these studies I performed with the IUC and performed a tour in Greece as a soloist with the "Italian Lyric Ensamble".
I participated in vocal masterclasses with artists such as: Mariella Devia, Leo Nucci, Eva Mei, Luciana D'Intino, Fiorenza Cedolins, Lucio Gallo and others.
I am currently perfecting myself with the soprano Mariangela Sicilia.
In the work environment I performed in Beethoven's "Ninth Symphony" in Sala Verdi as a soprano soloist, as Barbarina in "Le nozze di Figaro" at the Teatro Comunale of Bologna , as Annina in "la Traviata" at the Castello Visconteo Sforzesco , in those of Amore in "Orfeo e Euridice" at the Fondazione Teatro Grande in Brescia , in those of Pamina in "Die Zeuberflöte" at the Teatro Verdi in Trieste and in those of Belinda at the Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia.
